He moved to Brazil in his teens and became an established performer <br />and teacher there, giving many recitals and masterclasses throughout South America. </p><p>He is a laureate of many international guitar competitions in Europe and the United States and in 2002 he won first <br />prize at the prestigious Alhambra International Guitar Competition heldin Alcoy, Spain. He repeated this success <br />by winning first prize at the Emilio Pujol International Guitar Competition in Italy in the same year. </p><p>He has performed in more than twenty countries in solo recital performances and as soloist with orchestra, and has <br />appeared many times on television and radio throughout Europe and South America. His growing reputation as one <br />of today’s very best young guitarists is being rewarded with an ever-increasing worldwide concert and masterclass schedule.&quot;</p>]]></content>
