Det betyder väl dels det du skriver (även om det nog inte måste vara "uteslutande" E-durskalans toner som används, bara "övervägande" tror jag man kanske kan säga smile ), men inte minst betyder det väl att E är grundton i stycket, dvs. stycket slutar förmodligen på ett E och i stycket så låter tonen E som "hemma".
